Information: If you did not work with the B2B Packaged Solution before, we strongly recommend to take one of our training courses: BIS 6 B2B Packaged Solution Automotive or BIS 6 B2B Packaged Solution CPG.
The B2B Packaged Solution is a set of preconfigured industry solutions for the automotive industry, the CPG & retail industry, e-invoicing, and logistics. The B2B Packaged Solution is deployed within the system provisioning.
For the configuration of the process steps pre-configured entity classes can be used within the Entities explorer in the BIS Front End, i.e. for setting up a process of how master data, the connection to the backend and the trading partners, and mappings should work together. The parameters of the entities contain the configuration for your business processes.
Information: If you want to use SEEBURGER partner profiles, please make a change request in the Service Desk.
The B2B Packaged Solution and the MFT Packaged Solution can be used in parallel as both solutions cover different integration scenarios.
Note: We strongly recommend to use naming conventions defined in cooperation with SEEBURGER. This way, the SEEBURGER consultant can find your configuration more quickly if a support case should arise.
New features and all changes or bug fixes are described in the solution release notes. For getting an update of the B2B Packaged Solution, you need to make a change request at the Service Desk or ask your SEEBURGER consultant to do so.
Information: SEEBURGER will perform the updates on the staging environment first. You will then be responsible for testing the regression impact of updates.
With your confirmation, SEEBURGER will update the production environment.
